2020 model - The black Mini Tuff Lite with a 4034SS steel blade replaces the discontinued predecessor model made of AUS 8A steel.

Stainless steel 4034SS
A mid-range stainless steel from Japan whose higher chromium content provides remarkable corrosion resistance. This steel is also relatively easy to sharpen and shows comparatively good wear resistance. It is often used for kitchen knives / cutlery or for smaller knives that offer generally good quality but are still sold at an affordable price.
