Supply only to persons with a purchase authorisation. Firearms, essential parts, silencers and ammunition that require a purchase authorisation are only shipped after we have checked your documents – and only within Germany.
How your order works
1. Place your order
Items requiring a purchase authorisation are marked in the shop. Your basket shows which items are affected, and at checkout you confirm with a tick that you will send us your documents. Bank transfer with 2% discount is not available for these items.
2. Send your documents
After clicking “Order with obligation to pay” you receive a confirmation asking for your documents. Send us copies or photos of your purchase authorisation, your NWR IDs and – where required – your identity card, together with your order number.
3. Check and shipping
We check your documents for validity, where necessary in consultation with your competent authority. After payment and the check, we ship by firearms delivery with an identity check on handover – only to the person and address entered in your documents.
Which documents do we need?
Hunters

Valid hunting licence (Jagdschein) in the original, as an officially certified copy or an officially certified transcript – plus your NWR person ID and NWR permit ID.
- Important! A copy must include all pages with entries, signatures and seals.
- Important! For handguns and handgun ammunition we also need the green WBK with the corresponding prior entry from hunters.
- Important! Your hunting licence contains a photo and therefore counts as an ID – you do not need to present an additional identity card when purchasing a firearm.
- Important! New hunters without a WBK purchase their first long gun, silencer or ammunition on their hunting licence (original or copy). Within two weeks they must apply for the green firearms ownership card (WBK) and have the long gun or silencer entered.
If you are not yet registered in the NWR, please provide your full personal details instead of the NWR IDs.
Sport shooters
Yellow or green firearms ownership card (WBK) in the original or as a copy, plus a copy of your valid identity card and your NWR person ID and NWR permit ID.

Important! A copy must include all pages with entries, signatures and seals.
Collectors, ammunition collectors and special permits
Ammunition purchase licence (Munitionserwerbsschein) in the original or as a copy, plus a copy of your identity card.
Special permits in the original or as a copy, plus a copy of your identity card.
NWR ID numbers (hunters and sport shooters)
Since 01.09.2020 we compulsorily need your NWR ID numbers when you buy a firearm, for the required report to the National Weapons Register (NWR):
- Person ID (P), e.g. P2013-01-01-0001234-A – your personal identification number, relating directly to you as a person.
- Permit ID (E), e.g. E2013-01-01-0001234-A – relates to your permit, e.g. your WBK or hunting licence. If you hold several WBKs, each has its own number.
- Company ID (F), e.g. F2013-01-01-0001234-A – dealers only: if you order on your firearms trading licence, we need your company ID.
Important! For every item requiring a purchase authorisation we always need your person ID and permit ID. If you do not have them yet, your competent licensing authority can tell you.

Who may purchase what?
The following notes refer to the German Weapons Act (WaffG) and the Federal Hunting Act (BJagdG) as currently amended. They reflect our current knowledge and make no claim to completeness; the content of your permit is decisive.
Hunting licence (§ 15 BJagdG)
Entitles the holder to purchase long guns, silencers and ammunition – except weapons expressly prohibited under the Federal Hunting Act and handguns that require a prior entry on the green WBK. The hunting licence must be valid at the time of purchase.
Holders of a youth hunting licence (§ 16 BJagdG) are not entitled to purchase firearms or ammunition (§ 13 para. 7 WaffG).
Yellow WBK (sport shooters)
The yellow WBK under § 14 para. 6 WaffG entitles the holder to purchase and possess single-shot long guns with smooth and rifled barrels, repeating long guns with rifled barrels, single-barrel single-shot handguns for cartridge ammunition and multi-shot handguns and long guns with percussion ignition, as well as the ammunition for the firearms entered.
No more than two firearms may be purchased within six months; an exception requires the prior consent of the licensing authority.
Old yellow WBK (issued up to 31.03.2003): remains valid to the same extent under § 58 para. 1 WaffG and allows the purchase of single-shot long guns (smooth and rifled barrels) without time or quantity limits.
Green WBK
Allows purchase after a prior entry (§ 14 WaffG). The prior entry entitles the holder to purchase the type of weapon entered within one year. This also applies to hunters' handguns on their green WBK.
Red WBK (collectors and experts)
Entitles the holder to purchase the weapons, ammunition and collecting areas specified in it.
Purchasing ammunition
Valid hunting licence: entitles the holder to purchase all kinds of long-gun ammunition for hunting purposes under the BJagdG – except ammunition subject to the War Weapons Control Act (KWKG) and handgun ammunition that requires a prior entry on the green WBK.
Entry in the WBK: for sport shooters (handgun and long-gun ammunition) and hunters (handgun ammunition), the WBK governs the purchase of ammunition – on the yellow WBK via the firearm entered, on the green WBK via the official stamp in the field “Entitled to purchase ammunition” for the respective firearm.
Ammunition purchase licence (MES): governs the purchase of the types of ammunition listed in it. The purchase entitlement is usually limited to six years, possession is unlimited. All types of ammunition not subject to the KWKG are permitted.
Important! We only deliver firearms and ammunition within Germany.
Notes on carrying, transport and storage (including the carrying ban under § 42a WaffG) can be found on our page Legal notes on weapons.
