In vielerlei Hinsicht sind die Messer der Cold Steel® Hold Out-Serie ideale EDC-Messer (Every Day Carry) für den täglichen Gebrauch. Sie sind verblüffend leicht und lassen sich bequem tragen, verleihen Dir aber gleichzeitig ein beruhigendes Gefühl der Sicherheit, wie es nur Hochleistungs-Taschenmesser vermögen.

Die wunderschönen satinierten Klingen aus S35VN-Stahl sind extrem funktionell. Sie sind ab dem Rücken flachgeschliffen, mit einem schmalen V-förmigen Querschnitt und einer rasiermesserscharfen, von Hand gewetzten Schneidkante. Sie sind vom Hals bis zur scharfen Spitze durchgehend gewölbt, gleiten mühelos durch zähes und grobes Material, und können Alltagsaufgaben und Schneidarbeiten problemlos bewältigen.

Die Griffe aus G-10 sind ergonomische Wunderwerke. Sie bieten einen unglaublich sicheren Halt und werden sich während der Nutzung weder in der Handfläche drehen noch wackeln. Das haftungsfördernde G-10-Material und die Aussparungen sorgen für zusätzliche Griffigkeit bei einer Vielzahl von Haltetechniken. Außerdem sind die Positionierung des Tri-Ad®-Verriegelungsmechanismus und die Geometrie von Klingen und Griff perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Messer mit einem Leistungs-Gewichts-Verhältnis, das selbst Cold Steels® eigenes Forschungs- und Entwicklungsteam verblüfft hat.

Die in zwei Größen erhältlichen Hold Outs sind unglaublich dünn und flach und mit einem umsetzbaren Taschenclip ausgerüstet.

CPM S35VN Stahl
Dies ist ein außerordentlicher amerikanischer Superstahl. CPM S35VN ist nicht nur äußerst zäh und beständig, sondern lässt sich auch sehr gut bis zur Rasiermesserschärfe schleifen und hält diese Schärfe eine lange Zeit. Mit seiner gleichförmigen Mikrostruktur bietet dieser sehr feinkörnige Pulverstahl beständige, gute Eigenschaften: haltbar, zuverlässig, im hohen Maße korrosionsfest, zäh und hart auch bei dünn geschliffenen Schneiden. Ein guter, vielseitiger Stahl für Messer und Werkzeuge der Spitzenqualität.
