Cold Steels® Grik wurde von Custom-Messermacher Andrew Demko entworfen und ist ein taschenfreundliches, funktionelles Gebrauchs- und EDC-Messer.

Seine ungewöhnliche modifizierte Spear-Point-Klinge ist aus japanischem Stahl AUS 8A gefertigt. Sie wurde fachmännisch gehärtet und cryo-behandelt und bietet die perfekte Balance von Schnitthaltigkeit und Nachschärfbarkeit. Eine flache Kerbe im Klingenrücken dient sowohl als bequeme Daumenstütze für optimale Hebelkraft bei anspruchsvollen Arbeiten, als auch als Auflage für den Zeigefinger beim Verrichten von Feinarbeiten mit der Klingenspitze.

Die zweifarbige Satinoberfläche mit sichtbaren Schleiflinien und die kontrastierende Polymer-Daumenscheibe mit HTR™-Beschichtung verleihen der Klinge eine ausgefallene Optik - das Messer ist somit nicht nur leicht zu bedienen, sondern schmeichelt auch dem Auge!

Das, was das Grik wahrlich aus der Masse hervorhebt, ist aber sein Griff! Dieser ist aus ergonomisch geformtem glasfaserverstärktem Nylon gefertigt und mit einem austauschbaren, umsetzbaren Clip ausgestattet. Er weist ein so niedriges, flaches Profil auf, dass das Messer in jeder Tasche komfortabel und besonders unauffällig sitzt. Außerdem ist der Taschenclip aus Polymer gefertigt und sorgt so für einen unglaublich bequemen Halt. Hier wird Deine Handfläche von den typischen Druckstellen verschont, die bei längerem Gebrauch eines Taschenmessers mit Stahlclip oft entstehen. Und anders als mit Stahlclips sind hier Lackschäden oder Risse in den Ledersitzen Deines Autos ausgeschlossen!

Ausgerüstet ist das Grik mit Cold Steels bewährtem Tri-Ad®-Verriegelungsmechanismus, der in puncto Sicherheit und Stabilität immer noch seinesgleichen sucht. Dieses Messer ist ein strapazierfähiges und praktisches Werkzeug, das schon bald aus Deinem Alltag nicht mehr wegzudenken sein wird.

Cold Steel® verwendet den gleichen fachmännisch gehärteten japanischen AUS 8A-Stahl seit nunmehr fast drei Jahrzehnten. Dieser Stahl ist außerordentlich gut erprobt und hat in all den Jahren bewiesen, dass er sich in exzellenter Weise zur Klingenherstellung von Arbeitsmessern eignet: Er ist zäh und korrosionsbeständig bei guter Schnitthaltigkeit und zudem leicht zu schärfen.
