Bush Ranger Lite, Taschenmesser

Für die, die sich für das Bush Ranger interessieren, jedoch auf der Suche nach einem kostengünstigeren klappbaren Feldmesser sind, hat Mike Wallance das Bush Ranger Lite entwickelt.

Seine ca. 9 cm lange Sheffield-Clip-Point-Klinge ist in der Form nahezu identisch mit der Klinge des Bush Rangers, allerdings ist sie bei dieser Lite-Version aus strapazierfähigem 8Cr13MoV-Stahl gefertigt und lässt sich über einen Daumenpin aufklappen. Da Nutzungskomfort immer ein entscheidender Faktor ist, besteht der Griff aus ergonomisch geformtem glasfaserverstärktem Nylon (GFN) und passt wie angegossen in die Hand. Das Bush Ranger Lite bringt lediglich knapp 140 g auf die Waage und ist besonders tragefreundlich, denn es ist nicht nur leicht, sondern auch miteinem umsetzbaren, für Rechts- und Linkshänder geeigneten Taschenclip ausgestattet. Nach wie vor haben Schutz und Betriebssicherheit bei Cold Steel® immer oberste Priorität. Das Bush Ranger Lite wurde daher mit einer hochmodernen, doppelt gesicherten Wippen-Verriegelung ausgestattet, die ungeheuer stoß- und schlagfest ist.

Edelstahl 8Cr13MoV
8Cr13MoV weist ähnliche Eigenschaften wie AUS 8A auf und ist ein bewährter Stahl, der sich zur Herstellung von Arbeitsmessern hervorragend eignet. Bei Cold Steels® eigenen Tests hat sich dieser rostfreie Stahl mit hohem Kohlenstoffanteil als zäh und korrosionsbeständig erwiesen. Wie AUS 8A legt er eine gute Schnitthaltigkeit an den Tag und lässt sich auch leicht nachschärfen.
