Dieses robuste Messer ist speziell auf die Bedürfnisse der amerikanischen Gesetzeshüter zugeschnitten und wurde zu deren Ehre American Lawman® benannt. Es wurde so entwickelt, um den härtesten Bedingungen standzuhalten, bleibt dabei dennoch angenehm im Gebrauch und bietet höchsten Tragekomfort.

Die Drop-Point-Klinge aus CPM S35VN-Hochleistungsstahl sind lang und scharf genug, um fast jede Aufgabe zu meistern, besitzt jedoch eine zivilistenfreundliche Optik. Sie ist flachgeschliffen, verfügt über eine dünne, von Hand polierte Schneide, und eine DLC-Beschichtung (Diamond-Like Coating) sorgt für erhöhte Lebensdauer und noch bessere Korrosionsbeständigkeit.

Auch der Griff des Lawman-Messers wurde konzipiert, um höchste Vielseitigkeit und Benutzerfreundlichkeit zu gewährleisten. Er ist aus G-10 gefertigt und seine Form sorgt für maximale Griffigkeit, selbst unter den schlechtesten Bedingungen.

Bei Klappmessern kann eine defekte Sperre eine unglaublich gefährliche Angelegenheit sein. Daher wurde jedes American Lawman® mit Cold Steels® Tri-Ad®-Verriegelungsmechanismus ausgestattet. Diese extrem schlagfeste Vorrichtung hat die härtesten Belastungstests der Branche erfolgreich bestanden und ist dazu konzipiert, den heftigsten Stoßkräften standzuhalten.

2019er Modell - Das American Lawman® mit Klinge aus S35VN-Stahl ersetzt das nicht mehr produzierte Vorgängermodell aus CTS® XHP (Artikelnr. CST-58ACL).

Dies ist ein außerordentlicher amerikanischer Superstahl. CPM S35VN ist nicht nur äußerst zäh und beständig, sondern lässt sich auch sehr gut bis zur Rasiermesserschärfe schleifen und hält diese Schärfe eine lange Zeit. Mit seiner gleichförmigen Mikrostruktur bietet dieser sehr feinkörnige Pulverstahl beständige, gute Eigenschaften: haltbar, zuverlässig, im hohen Maße korrosionsfest, zäh und hart auch bei dünn geschliffenen Schneiden. Ein guter, vielseitiger Stahl für Messer und Werkzeuge der Spitzenqualität.
