Über die Jahre sind die Pendleton Hunters von Cold Steel® immer beliebter geworden, und auf vielfachen Wunsch bietet Cold Steel® auch ein günstigeres Pendleton, das für so gut wie jeden Geldbeutel erschwinglich ist.

Mit seiner Drop-Point Klinge, seinem schlichten Handschutz, seiner ausgekehlten Kropffläche und seinem aufgeweiteten Griffende für besseren Halt unter rutschigen und rauen Bedingungen ähnelt das Pendleton Lite Hunter in seiner Aufmachung sehr stark den klassischen Modellen von Lloyd Pendleton. Die einzigen wesentlichen Abweichungen bestehen in dem Einsatz des Edelstahls 4116, der tieftemperaturbehandelt wurde, und in der Verwendung von schlagfestem Polypropylen für den Griff.

Dieses Messer wurde von Cold Steel® in der Praxis getestet und erhielt Bestnoten. Im Gelände zeigte es sich zum Ausnehmen und Häuten von Tieren gleichermaßen geeignet, wies eine ordentliche Kantenfestigkeit auf, war leicht nachzuschärfen und stellte sich als unglaublich robust heraus.

Wenn Du auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen, preisgekrönten Jagd- bzw. Gebrauchsmesser bist, das Dir jahrelang treu zur Seite stehen soll, dann könnte es schwierig werden, ein besseres Messer als das Pendleton Lite Hunter zu finden.

Rostfreier Messerstahl 4116
Der 4116er Stahl ist ein feinkörniger, rostfreier Messerstahl. Er wird oft für pharmazeutische Geräte und für hochqualitative Küchenmesser verwendet. Sein ausgewogenes Kohlenstoff-Chrom-Verhältnis sorgt sowohl für erstklassigen Rostschutz und große Stärke. Es sind sehr feine, extrem scharfe Schneiden schleifbar. Eine exzellente Wahl für Outdoor- /Jagdmesser und Küchenmesser und -utensilien.
