Die Halsmesser der Mini Tac® -Kollektion von Cold Steel® sind so dünn und leicht, dass sie praktisch rund um die Uhr - sowohl über als auch unter der Kleidung - bequem getragen werden können! Dank der robusten Kugelketten und der strapazierfähigen Secure-Ex®-Scheiden, die eigens entwickelt wurden, um die Mini Tac® -Messer passgenau aufzubewahren jedoch auch schnell und leichtgängig rausziehen zu können, sind diese praktischen Neck Knives als Gebrauchs- bzw. EDC-Messer oder Rettungsmesser geeignet und sogar beim Campen ideale Begleiter. Ihre Vielseitigkeit ist nahezu unerschöpflich.

Jedes Mini Tac® ist mit dünnen, strukturierten Griffschalen aus hochwertigem Griv-Ex™ ausgestattet. Somit können sie flach und eng am Körper getragen werden und bieten eine optimale Grifffläche. In Kombination mit dem integrierten Sub-Hilt (Fingerdorn) verleihen diese Griffschalen der Hand unglaubliche Hebelkraft und verhindern, dass das Messer sich dreht. Für einen bemerkenswert sicheren Halt ist also gesorgt.

Die aus Edelstahl gefertigten Klingen wurden nach dem neuesten Stand der Technik wärmebehandelt und rasiermesserscharf feingeschliffen. Für ihre Größe sind sie unfassbar robust, was u.a. der Vollerl-Bauweise zuzuschreiben ist.

Das Mini Tac® Tanto verfügt über eine bemerkenswert breite, biegesteife Klinge und eine sehr robuste verstärkte Spitze. Dadurch ist es ideal, um selbst zähe, harte Gegenstände durchzustoßen. Außerdem weist die breite Klinge einen großzügigen Hohlschliff und eine besonders scharfe Schneidkante auf. Somit ist die Schneidfähigkeit des Messers fast genauso gut wie seine Durchdringungskraft.

Edelstahl AUS 8A
Cold Steel® verwendet den gleichen fachmännisch gehärteten japanischen AUS 8A-Stahl seit nunmehr fast drei Jahrzehnten. Dieser Stahl ist außerordentlich gut erprobt und hat in all den Jahren bewiesen, dass er sich in exzellenter Weise zur Klingenherstellung von Arbeitsmessern eignet: Er ist zäh und korrosionsbeständig bei guter Schnitthaltigkeit und zudem leicht zu schärfen.
