König Elendil, Vater von Isildur, war der ursprüngliche Träger des mächtigen Schwertes Narsil. Gegen Ende des Zweiten Zeitalters von Mittelerde wurde Narsils Klinge in der großen Schlacht zwischen Mordor und dem letzten Bündnis von Elben und Menschen zerschmettert und Elendil fiel. Doch Ilsidur gelang es noch, mit einem Bruchstück Narsils dem dunklen Herrscher Sauron den Finger mit dem Einen Ring von der Hand abzutrennen. Nach dem Verlust des Ringes wurde Saurons Körper zerstört.

Die Scherben Narsils wurden 3000 Jahre lang von den Elben in Bruchtal behütet. Erst am Ende des Dritten Zeitalters wurde die Klinge neu geschmiedet, um unter dem Namen Anduril (auch Flamme des Westens) Aragorn, dem rechtmäßigen Thronerbe Gondors, zur Seite zu stehen.

Dieses authentische und detailgetreue Sammlerstück ist eine offiziell lizenzierte Replik des originalen Filmrequisits aus der Der Herr der Ringe-Trilogie. United Cutlery, Branchenführer im Herstellen von Film-Reproduktionen, hat das Originalschwert akribisch genau und mit den besten und hochwertigsten Materialien nachgebaut. Oberste Priorität lag dabei auf der exakten Nachbildung aller Details. Die Klinge dieses prunkvollen Schwertes ist aus 420er rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt. Das aufwendig gestaltete Heft hat eine mit Leder umwickelte Griffpartie sowie eine Parierstange und einen Knauf aus massivem Metall mit vergoldeten Akzenten. Elbische Runen, geschrieben in Sindarin, sind in den Knauf eingraviert und besagen: Narsil ist mein Name, ein mächtiges Schwert. Telchar hat mich gefertigt in Nogrod.

Ein Wanddisplay aus Holz mit Siebdruck-Design und ein Echtheitszertifikat sind im Lieferumfang enthalten.
