Henry Lever Action Big Boy Steel .357 MAG. SIDE GATE LARGE LOOP lever-action rifle

The Henry R. Arms Big Boy Steel Side Gate has the same charm as the brass-framed Big Boys, but is equipped with improved features for the modern hunter. Above all, it differs from the Big Boy series in its lower weight.

Most of the weight saving is due to the fact that the steel frame is lighter in the first place than its brass counterpart, and to less steel in the thinner barrel walls than in an octagonal version.

To ensure that the steel Big Boy remains easy on the shoulder, a black solid rubber recoil pad is used. For hands-free carrying uphill or downhill, it has sling swivels. In addition, the weapon has a rifle-style fore-end cap instead of the usual carbine barrel band.

The Big Boy Classic Steel has a round 20-inch barrel, a matte-finished blued steel frame and has been prepared for optional riflescope mounts. It uses the same adjustable Western-style sights as the standard Big Boy, with the same safety system for the sliding rod in its hammer.

This version has the glove-friendly oversized lever and a magazine capacity of seven rounds.
