Cold Steels® großer Parierdolch, der historisch der Zeit zwischen dem 15. und dem 17. Jahrhundert zugeordnet werden kann, ist ein wertvolles Schmuckstück, das es verdienen würde, über Generationen hinweg weitervererbt zu werden.

Er ist für Angriff und Verteidigung gleichermaßen geeignet: Seine lange, kräftige, breite Klinge ist stabil genug, um sich den größten Schwertern zu widersetzen, kann dennoch auch problemlos schwere Textilien, Leder, ja sogar Kettenzeug oder leichten Plattenpanzer durchstoßen! Die äußerst robuste, stark abwärts gebogene Parierstange und der großzügig ausgelegte Parierring bieten der Führhand und dem Unterarm großartigen Schutz gegen feindliche Schwert- und Dolchangriffe. Sie dienen außerdem als hervorragende Klingenfänger, um gegnerische Klingen einzuklemmen und festzuhalten. Dieser Dolch ist extrem flink und lässt sich in jeder Richtung mühelos handhaben. Er ist mit einem stilechten, drahtumwickelten Griff ausgestattet und schließt mit einem kräftigen Stahlknauf ab, der auch an sich eine wirkungsvolle Schlagwaffe ist.

Unser Parierdolch kommt mit polierter, vollgeschärfter Klinge. Die mitgelieferte Scheide aus kräftigem, schwarzem Leder ist mit Mundblech und Ortband verziert.

1055 Kohlenstoffstahl
Der Kohlenstoffgehalt und die relativ geringen Anteile anderer Stoffe in diesem Stahl machen ihn zu einem sehr stabilen Material, das frei von der Sprödheit ist, die den meisten kohlenstoffreicheren Stählen innewohnt. Dieser Stahl eignet sich hervorragend für Klingen, die einen großen Schlagwiderstand aufweisen sollen und wird daher oft für große feststehende Messer, Macheten und Schwerter verwendet.
